- Peace of mind/safety - Our dedicated 24/7 Emergency Response centre is there to assist in the event of an emergency. Holding the "5" key for 3 seconds opens a two way communication channel with the response centre enabling our controllers to deal with the emergency in the appropriate way, whether its simply guiding them back to the hostel safely or liaising with the relevant British Embassy to deal with a potentially more serious situation
- Follow their trail - Gaptrac automatically records your child's trip, using GPS and GPRS we are able to constantly track their location and overlay this information on to digital mapping. So now rather than sitting there waiting for the next call postcard or email, Gaptrac allows you to pinpoint their exact location at anytime without having to intrude on their privacy.
- Calendar and favorites -The calendar allows you to view a specific time frame, whether just one day or perhaps the 2 weeks they spent in Thailand. The "favorites" option makes it easier for you to group specific parts of their trip, for example the month they travelled across India
- Mediatrac - This is where you will find all the travelers media upload's. Photos, Audio entries and videos are all shown on the map at the exact point they were uploaded and stored in chronological order
- Free Messaging - From your online account, you can send messages to the traveler free of charge and it doesn't cost a penny for them to message you either.
- Status - Not only are you able to see your child's thoughts, feelings or plans for the day but you can also check the battery life of their device.
- Other followers - Gaptrac allows you to see other friends and family who are following your son/daughter and message them for free as well, allowing you to really feel a part of this trip of a lifetime
